We are hiring Baristas! We look for positive, energetic, and outgoing people for all of our positions.

Closing and weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) availability is required.

Ability to work during Virginia Tech Graduation, Summer Solstice Festival, and Stepping Out are required to be considered.

 

Day to day activities for Baristas include (but not limited to):

  • Greeting customers
  • Take and enter customer orders into POS system
  • Knowledgeably describe our coffees / products
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
  • Be aware of stock levels and notify manager if anything is running low
  • Wash Dishes
  • Sweep
  • Mop
  • Clean
  • Organize
  • Clean restroom(s)
  • Consistently pull excellent espresso
  • Consistently steam milk to a silky micro-foam
  • Engage customers in conversation
  • Provide feedback on roaster quality / consistency
